
POSITION SUMMARY
The Junior Sales Associate is responsible for handling inbound and outbound sales calls with the primary objective of identifying prospects and transferring them to licensed loan originators. This role requires exceptional organization, efficiency, and resourcefulness. Success depends on the ability to operate effectively in a fast‑paced environment, manage shifting priorities, and maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality. The position interacts with staff at all levels and demands flexibility, proactive problem‑solving, and strong communication skills.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
Call Handling & Lead Transfer
Manage a high volume of inbound and outbound calls in a call‑center environment.
Engage prospects quickly, gather basic qualifying information, and transfer callers to licensed loan originators.
Follow call scripts, compliance requirements, and call‑center quality standards.
Operational Support
Document call outcomes and update internal systems accurately and promptly.
Maintain professionalism and accuracy in all interactions to support a positive customer experience.
Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned by management.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
Strong critical thinking and sound judgment, with the ability to evaluate data, anticipate downstream impacts, and assess risk.
Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment with a strong sense of urgency.
Excellent customer service, interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
Intermediate math proficiency.
High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
Professionalism and patience when interacting with internal and external customers.

Proficiency with data entry, PDF software, Microsoft Word, and Excel.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or GED equivalent, must also be 18 years or older.
