Preferred Qualifications

Business‑to‑Business sales experience including consultative or solution‑based selling techniques.

Proficiency with Salesforce.

Job Summary Exceeds sales and profit targets in a designated territory by implementing sales and marketing programs and establishing short‑ and long‑term sales strategies. Drives growth by securing profitable new accounts through industry research, networking, and proactive prospecting. Requires operation of a company vehicle or personal vehicle for more than 50% of the work week. A suitable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) report is mandatory.

Major Tasks, Responsibilities, and Key Accountabilities

Manages sales and customer retention initiatives to enhance performance, profitability, and satisfaction while overseeing planning, forecasting, and reporting.

Creates a strategic sales call schedule and conducts face‑to‑face visits to uncover opportunities and increase revenue with value‑added solutions.

Develops and maintains a qualified pipeline of managed accounts to meet or exceed sales and margin targets using the designated CRM tool.

Focuses on new accounts through effective cold‑call strategies to grow territory opportunities.

Implements approved sales strategies to achieve outcomes and foster customer relationships, maintaining product knowledge and service understanding.

Uses Salesforce reporting and data analysis to identify growth opportunities within the territory.

Reviews customer portfolio to identify and act on underperformance.

Collaborates with inside sales to support business growth.

Nature and Scope

Identifies key barriers and applies problem‑solving skills for complex situations.

Operates independently with limited instruction, developing solutions and seeking guidance only for unusual problems.

May oversee projects, including planning, assigning, monitoring, and reviewing progress, contributing to professional development but without hiring authority.

Work Environment

Comfortable indoor setting; occasional rare need to move or lift light items.

Predominantly seated but with frequent movement opportunities.

Occasional overnight travel, less than 10% of the time.

Education and Experience Typically requires BS/BA in a related discipline. Generally 5‑8 years of experience in a related field OR MS/MA with 3‑5 years of experience. Certification may be required in some areas.
