The Manager, SMB Sales role at T-Mobile leads the hiring, training, and development of a high-performing sales team responsible for outside direct sales in a specific geographic area. Market share: Increase market share and achieve and exceed performance targets related to subscribers, revenue, and churn. Sales quota: Meet or exceed overall sales quota for your assigned region. Operational initiatives: Implement key operational initiatives in the field while maintaining high ethical and procedural standards. Sales meetings: Coordinate and run frequent sales meetings. Staff development: Interview, hire, train, and develop a staff of successful Account Executives; Conduct ongoing mentoring/coaching in the field. Education and Work Experience
High School Diploma/GED (Required) 4-7 years Verifiable new customer acquisition sales experience within a commissioned environment (Preferred) 2 Years People management responsibilities (Preferred) 2 Years Telecommunications/technical sales (Preferred) Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Coaching Strong coaching skills with ability to conduct difficult conversations, i.e. change management. (Required) Presentations Talent to confidently make presentations to large groups as well as one on one (Required) Business Sales A proven track record of high yield business sales success (Required) Negotiation Well-honed negotiating and closing skills, including communication, emotional intelligence, and problem-solving. (Required) Recruiting Familiarity with basic HR/Recruiting processes in order to attract and retain top sales talent (Required) Leadership Proven leadership abilities, including inspiring and motivating teams, driving strategic initiatives, and fostering a positive and productive work environment. (Required) Licenses and Certifications

The pay range above is the general base pay range for a successful candidate in this role. The successful candidate’s actual pay will be based on various factors, such as work location, qualifications, and experience, so the actual starting pay will vary within this range.
