Inside Sales Representative
to join our team. This position is ideal for someone with strong typing skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Position Summary
The Inside Sales Representative is responsible for the complete and accurate preparation of sales quotes for customers using information provided by the job estimator. This is a clerical, data-entry focused position where success depends on
accuracy, typing speed, and attention to detail .
Essential Duties & Key Responsibilities
Generate quotes using established company methodology and procedures.
Maintain close communication with the sales team and estimator to ensure successful fulfillment of customer RFQs.
Accurately type and record quotes in the company’s computer system and store documentation in the proper network location.
Move jobs into the appropriate quote review stage.
Expectations
In maximizing the quantity, quality, and speed of sales opportunities, the sales team operates cooperatively and with shared accountability.
Ensure all records are accurate and quotes are completed within hours, and never more than 24 hours from the customer request.
Maintain positive, productive relationships with all team members.
Engage in conduct that supports the goals, culture, and reputation of Allegheny Surface Technology.
Areas of Control
Accuracy of quote records.
Timely completion of all quotes.
Quality of interdepartmental collaboration and communication.
Metrics for Success
Volume of quotes completed.
Speed and accuracy of completed work.
Overall quality of activities performed.
Tools & Technology Skills
Regular use of computer, scanner, copier, fax, and telephone.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook), Adobe, and other related sales software.
Ability to learn and effectively utilize ERP software, including CRM systems.
Education & Experience Requirements
No minimum education or work experience required.
Keyboard typing speed of at least
60 words per minute
required.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy a must.
Expected Hours of Work
Monday through Friday
Standard daytime schedule; specific hours may be arranged between employee and supervisor.
