KSA Events is seeking a Sales Manager to join our growing team! This role is ideal for a driven, relationship-focused professional who is passionate about sports, travel, and helping student-athletes access high-quality competitive experiences. As a Sales Manager, you will be responsible for generating new business, building relationships with schools and athletic programs, and guiding clients through the sales process — from initial outreach through signed agreement. You’ll work closely with marketing, operations, and account management teams to ensure a smooth transition from sale to execution. This is a hybrid role. For most of the year, you will work remotely focusing on outreach, prospecting, and relationship development. During peak event seasons, you may spend time onsite supporting events, strengthening relationships with clients, and representing KSA Events in person at tradeshows and athletic clinics in different parts of the country. KSA Events operates around three primary event seasons each year: Spring:
March – April Fall:
Late August – Early September Winter:
December – Early January During these seasons, the Sales Manager will attend events onsite to support client relationships and assist with event execution as needed. Outside of live event weeks, the role follows a standard work schedule with some flexibility for evening calls with coaches, athletic directors, booster members and families. Any nontraditional hours are flexed within the normal workday. We are seeking candidates based in Mountain Standard Time - or in California or Florida. Training will be March 15 - April 1. Sales & Business Development
Identify and pursue new sales opportunities with high schools, athletic programs, and school administrators Build and manage a strong pipeline of prospective clients, accurately noting travel and trip information in Salesforce Conduct outbound outreach via email, phone, Zoom, and in-person meetings Present KSA Events offerings, destinations, and event formats to prospective clients Customize proposals and pricing in collaboration with leadership Lead zoom meetings with prospective parents and coaches often in the evenings Relationship Building & Account Transition
Develop trusted relationships with athletic directors, boosters and coaches Serve as the primary sales contact through contract execution Partner with Account Managers to ensure a smooth handoff after the sale Attend events onsite to strengthen relationships and support long-term retention Strategy, Reporting & Collaboration
Meet or exceed individual and team sales goals Track sales activity, pipeline, and performance in Salesforce Provide regular forecasts and sales updates to leadership Collaborate with marketing on campaigns, outreach strategy, and messaging Share feedback from clients to help shape future events and offerings Qualifications
Required 3+ years of sales or business development experience Proven ability to build relationships and close deals Strong written and verbal communication skills Experience using CRM systems (Salesforce preferred) Comfortable working independently in a remote environment Preferred Experience selling to schools, athletic programs, or youth sports organizations Background in travel, events, hospitality, or sports-related industries Experience attending or supporting live events Key Competencies
