Job Description
We are seeking an experienced
Commercial Roofing Foreman
with a strong background in
single-ply systems
(TPO, PVC, EPDM). The ideal candidate will lead a crew of roofers on commercial job sites, ensuring all work is performed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. The Foreman must manage daily operations, solve problems in real time, and maintain effective communication with project leadership and clients.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and direct all on‑site crew activities related to the installation of single‑ply roofing systems
Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and specifications for TPO, PVC, and EPDM systems
Coordinate labor, materials, and equipment to meet project schedules and budgets
Conduct and document daily safety meetings and enforce job site safety policies (OSHA compliance)
Ensure proper installation methods in accordance with manufacturer specifications and warranties
Perform regular inspections to ensure quality control and resolve issues proactively
Act as the primary point of contact between field crews and project management
Mentor and train crew members in single‑ply techniques and safety practices
Keep accurate job records, including daily reports, timecards, and material usage
Qualifications:
5+ years of commercial roofing experience, specializing in single‑ply systems
2+ years of experience as a foreman or lead installer on commercial projects
Proficiency in installing TPO, PVC, and EPDM (mechanically fastened, adhered, and ballasted)
Skilled in hot‑air welding, seam testing, and membrane detailing
Strong leadership and communication skills
Ability to manage and motivate crews of 4–10 workers
Valid driver’s license with reliable transportation
OSHA 10 or 30 Certification (or willingness to obtain)
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience operating lifts, generators, and other roofing equipment
Familiarity with job management software or digital reporting tools
Work Conditions:
Outdoor environment with exposure to varying weather conditions
Physically demanding work (lifting 50+ lbs, climbing, kneeling, prolonged standing)
Travel to multiple job sites as required
