Principal Enterprise Architecture Team Role

As a member of the Principal Enterprise Architecture team, you will lead the development of architecture solutions and technology strategy for the Enterprise ServiceNow platform. This platform is used to advance our employee experience and digital transformation strategies. The ServiceNow Technology Platform Architect will collaborate with the Technology Platform Owner, Product Manager, and key partners to ensure Principal's ServiceNow solutions are successfully designed, developed, deployed, and operated. In addition to technical architecture development, you will be a beacon for employee experience, education, advanced topics research, and mentorship across the company. You'll have the opportunity to: Define platform architecture standards and ensure alignment of process and technology solutions with platform architecture guidance. Lead platform architecture strategies to optimize and modernize the platform technology portfolio and encourage reusability and adaptability of Principal's process and technology assets to achieve enterprise leverage. Influence, coach, and mentor on how to consume and apply key aspects of the platform architecture. Partner with business and technology leaders to formulate platform architecture strategies to achieve our company's business objectives and priorities and result in efficient and effective use of our information technology assets. Develop and maintain roadmaps that communicate platform architecture priorities to achieve business outcomes. Facilitate strategic architecture discussions and set short to medium-term strategic platform architecture direction. Identify, research, recommend, and drive adoption of emerging and innovative technologies, techniques, and tools that enable the business to achieve strategic platform goals and respond to future market changes. Assess architecture risk and impact of platform related business and technology decisions communicating implications and mitigation strategies across the organization. We are looking for someone with: Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience. 10+ years of experience in developing technology strategies and architecting solutions with a multi-business unit organization (ideally global organization). Hands-on practical expertise in the architecture and implementation of enterprise IT Service Management System technologies and vendors such as ServiceNow, BMC Helix, and Atlassian. Skills that will help you stand out: One or more of the following current ServiceNow Certifications: Certified Master Architect (CMA), Certified Implementation Specialist - IT Service Management (CIS-ITSM), Certified Application Specialist - Customer Service Management (CAS-CSM), ITIL Foundation Certification. Salary ranges below reflect targeted base salaries. Non-sales positions have the opportunity to participate in a bonus program. Sales positions are eligible for sales incentives, and in some instances a bonus plan, whereby total compensation may far exceed base salary depending on individual performance. Actual compensation for all roles will be based upon geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer. Salary Range (Non-Exempt expressed as hourly; Exempt expressed as yearly): $141,000 - $191,000 / year Flexible Time Off (FTO) is provided to salaried (exempt) employees and provides the opportunity to take time away from the office with pay for vacation, personal or short-term illness. Employees don't accrue a bank of time off under FTO and there is no set number of days provided. Pension Eligible: Yes Work Environments: This role offers in-office, hybrid (blending at least three office days in a typical workweek). You'll work with your leader to figure out which option may align best based on several factors.
