CreditAssociates, a leading direct-to-consumer financial services company based in Plano, TX, seeks a people-oriented Settlement Advisor, Bilingual (Spanish/English) to join its team. The Settlement Advisor (SA) presents settlement terms to clients, reviews accounts to determine the availability of funds, gains acceptance when applicable, and validates funds to complete Settlement Offers. The Settlement Advisor is the primary liaison between the company, the creditor, and the client, educating clients on their settlement status, structuring settlement terms, and determining the best settlement offer to ensure success for both the client and the company. Responsibilities
Provide exceptional customer service Effectively handle inbound and outbound calls Identify and convey acceptable settlement terms and percentages consistent with company standards Exhibit excellent knowledge of client base and maintain client relationships Calculate and add funds necessary to finalize the settlements Obtain client authorization to accept settlements when needed Follow up on client inquiries not able to be immediately resolved Motivate and retain client to complete the program Characteristics
Proven organizational skills, attention to detail and a strong ability to prioritize and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment Flexibility and ability to meet changing business needs Ability to work in a team environment Ability to multi-task and handle numerous assignments simultaneously Competitive and highly self-motivated with a strong sense of urgency Requirements
Bilingual (Spanish/English) is REQUIRED High School Diploma or higher education Can work 100% in-office (Monday-Friday) at our Plano location 1-year+ experience in debt settlement or financial services experience Ability to multi-task and handle numerous assignments simultaneously Competitive and highly self-motivated with a strong sense of urgency Strong computer skills: Word, Excel, Outlook Join Us
