We’re looking for an experienced
Database Administrator (DBA)
to support enterprise database platforms in a production environment. This role is
NOT for developers
— we are seeking a hands-on
Oracle SME / DBA
with strong Linux and automation experience. Key Responsibilities Provide guidance and support to application teams Install, tune, implement, patch, and upgrade DBMS environments Write and deploy SQL patches Proactively recommend system and performance improvements Monitor database systems to ensure high availability and performance Troubleshoot platform-specific performance and stability issues Review daily, weekly, and monthly database/system reports Maintain production uptime through backup, recovery, tuning, and security Collate and present statistical and operational data to stakeholders Design and maintain enterprise databases to support high traffic and large data volumes Write and maintain database programs, scripts, and automation Monitor databases and related systems continuously Debug and troubleshoot database scripts and performance issues Support disaster recovery, failover, and replication strategies Required Skills & Experience Replication experience (GoldenGate or HVR) Automation & scripting:
Shell, Python, Ansible
(Go a plus) Performance analysis, monitoring, and tuning expertise Schema creation, deployment, and maintenance Auditing setup, audit trails, and security controls Backup, recovery, DR setup, and maintenance Data integrity validation and access control implementation Nice to Have Redis or other
NoSQL databases Experience supporting hybrid or large-scale enterprise environments
