LEAD Program LEAD (Leadership Exploration and Development) is a leadership and management development program scheduled to begin in July 2026. The program offers onsite training at the bank’s headquarters in Suffolk, VA. The first half of the program is spent in specific job rotations throughout our headquarters in Hampton Roads. The second half of the program is spent in specific on‑job training in a selected Career Track within one of Towne’s regions.

Specialized tracks for Enterprise Support Services such as: Audit, Accounting, Technology, and Risk Management

Educational Coursework Required

Financial and Managerial Accounting

Economics

Computer skills for business (spreadsheets, documents, presentations, etc.)

Educational Coursework Preferred

Intro to Finance

Commercial Banking or Money & Banking

Statistics

Business Information Technology

Marketing

Community and Extra‑Curricular Involvement Proven initiative, work ethic, and leadership experience.
