
Order Management Specialist
Our manufacturing client near Darien, Illinois is seeking a detail-oriented Order Management/Customer Service Specialist to support incoming customer orders, internal communication flow, and overall customer satisfaction. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity offering long-term stability and growth potential. Key Responsibilities
Process and manage customer orders from entry through delivery, ensuring accuracy and timely fulfillment. Serve as a primary customer contact for order status, shipping updates, product inquiries, and issue resolution. Collaborate with production, logistics, and inventory teams to ensure on-time delivery and smooth order flow. Review purchase orders for accuracy, pricing, lead times, and special requirements. Maintain accurate records in the order management system and update customers proactively. Troubleshoot order discrepancies, delays, or quality issues with a solutions-focused mindset. Support general customer service tasks, including phone support and email communication. Qualifications
Previous experience in order management, customer service, manufacturing coordination, or related roles. Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple orders simultaneously. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills. Ability to work onsite daily in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Proficiency with order entry systems; strong computer skills preferred. Pay: $22 - $24/hr
