Loan Processing / Post-Closing Specialist
Community Bank | Full-Time We're working with a well-respected community bank seeking a Loan Processing / Post-Closing Specialist II to support the lending team and ensure loans are booked, funded, and documented accurately and on time. This role is ideal for someone who thrives behind the scenes, understands the full loan lifecycle, and takes pride in clean files and compliance. This is an on-site position. What You'll Do Prepare, review, and finalize loan documentation for funded loans Handle post-closing duties including booking loans, trailing documents, collateral perfection, and tickler tracking Ensure all loan files meet internal policies and regulatory requirements Coordinate with lenders, processors, title companies, and attorneys to clear post-closing items Maintain accurate loan files (paper and/or electronic) Assist with audits, exams, and internal reviews related to loan documentation Monitor exceptions, renewals, and document expirations What We're Looking For 3-5+ years of experience in loan processing, loan operations, or post-closing within a bank or credit union Processing Escrow (residential and commercial) is a huge plus Solid understanding of commercial and/or consumer loan documentation Strong attention to detail and follow-through Comfortable working with loan systems and document imaging platforms Ability to manage multiple files and deadlines without sacrificing accuracy Community-bank mindset: team-oriented, dependable, and service-focused Why This Role?
