The Repair Representative is responsible for assisting customers with emergency needs in terms of tow, rental, glass and physical damage repair coordination. The Repair Representative obtains, evaluates, analyzes, negotiates and monitors tow, rental and glass repairs and assists with coordination of body/mechanical repairs as needed. This is a full-time work from home position that will allow you to work 100% from your home residence in the Charlotte Metropolitan area or surrounding counties. Our department operates between the hours of Monday through Friday 8 a.m. - 7 p.m. EST. The schedules offered are based on current business needs. The pay range for this position is $17.36-$18.81 per hour USD. Pay within the range will be determined based on numerous factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, experience, skills, performance, time in position, and business or organizational needs. Responsibilities include: Field calls to assist customers with emergency needs including tows, rentals, and physical damage coordination Analyze and negotiate repair time and parts prices with glass vendors and tow facilities to ensure accurate and cost effective repairs Ensure payment of vehicle repairs and parts invoices in a timely manner Analyze and negotiate repair time and parts prices with body shops, dealerships and miscellaneous repair facilities, to ensure accurate and cost effective repairs as needed Review Fleet Group and Vendor insurance compliance and process issues, handle certificate renewals and report findings to Repair/Compliance Supervisor Work closely with all Risk Management teams to achieve and maintain department expectations and goals Assist Claims Support Coordinators and Repair Compliance Coordinators as needed Minimum Qualifications include: Must reside in the Charlotte, NC area or the immediate surrounding NC counties Minimum of (1) one year or more of customer service experience Minimum of (1) one year or more of administration experience Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel) Automotive repair experience preferred Bachelor's Degree or Associate's Automotive Degree in Collision Repair or similar field preferred Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future Must have the ability to meet all work from home technical requirements Work from Home (WFH) Requirements: Must have reliable and consistent high-speed internet access provided by a terrestrial cable or fiber provider (no DSL or satellite) High-speed Internet connection with a minimum validated upload speed of 5Mb and download speed of 25Mb is required. Connection latency must be less than 100ms.
