Overview ADP is hiring a Director, Application Development – RPA. In this role you’ll thrive in an Agile development environment transforming designs and ideas into innovative products and web applications. Your work will support primarily internal stakeholders, bridging design, engineering, product development, and implementation.

You\'ll work with business leadership and project management to understand priorities and create automation accordingly.

Experience.

You have 12+ years of experience in relevant skills gained and developed in the same or similar role.

To succeed in this role

A Bachelor\'s degree or equivalent.

Robotic Process Automation (RPA) Expertise:

Hands-on experience with Blue Prism

(development, deployment, troubleshooting, and lifecycle management).

Strong familiarity with RPA methodologies and best practices.

Prior experience in these technologies are also strongly recommended:

Basic knowledge of microservices stack—.Net, Java, Docker, Redis, REST/JSON, and SQL/Oracle/Postgres

DevOps and automated change management through Jenkins, Ansible, or similar technologies.

Technical Leadership & Team Management:

Proven experience leading software development teams and technical specialists.

Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects concurrently, ensuring on-time delivery while maintaining quality and alignment with standards.

Experience coaching, mentoring, and developing technical staff.

Strategic & Operational Balance:

Ability to prioritize short-term deliverables while actively shaping and advancing long-term technology strategies.

Skilled at identifying opportunities for automation, process improvement, and platform scalability.

Project & Stakeholder Management:

Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to translate business needs into actionable technical solutions.

Comfortable engaging with cross-functional teams and senior leaders to align objectives, manage expectations, and report progress.

Technical Acumen:

Background in software development, automation engineering, or related technical fields.

Familiarity with enterprise systems, integration patterns, and modern development practices.
