
DESCRIPTION
The Retail Director is responsible for managing a team of Outside Sales Representatives to achieve the goals and objectives set by the client. The measure of success for the Retail Director is the ability to effectively lead their team, meet/exceed KPIs, and maintain a strong partnership with our client. RESPONSIBILITIES
Team Leadership & Development - Train, mentor, and inspire a team of OSRs to meet and exceed client expectations in driving sales and in-store execution. Retail In-Store Execution - Provide strategic direction to achieve all retail priorities. Guide your team to own their territories, identify opportunities, build relationships and drive sales. Performance Coaching & Quality Assurance - Conduct regular work with and meetings to deliver actionable feedback to ensure high-quality execution. Build strong relationships with the team through consistent communication and support. Cross-Functional Collaboration - Partner with our Client Partners and internal HQ Teams to align on key initiatives and communicate effectively across teams. Technology & Systems Expertise - Serve as a subject matter expert on Acosta\'s retail systems, Microsoft Office Suite and PowerBI. Embrace technology and lead with insights. Reporting & Analysis - Review in-store reports, dashboards and other materials to identify opportunities, recognize success and create action plans to deliver results. Additional Duties - Perform other responsibilities as assigned, including meeting physical requirements and maintaining a valid driver\'s license for travel. Travel - Work in-market with your team covering IA, IL, IN, KS, KY, MI, MN, MO, NE, OH, SD, WI. QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor\'s Degree or equivalent experience. 5 years of grocery retail experience. Hy Vee & Midwest retailers knowledge preferred. 5 years of experience in leading retail in-store execution teams. Proven ability to see the big picture and translate diverse systems and goals into actionable plans. Strong communication & presentation skills with the ability to tailor messages to different audiences. Experience in coaching, mentoring, and promoting continuous learning within teams. Expertise in retail systems and tools to drive efficiency and execution. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite - Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint. Strong interpersonal, organizational, and sales skills. Comfortable presenting to various audiences and responding to questions with confidence.
