Lead the Division of Pediatric Cardiology, supervising and developing clinical services, education, and research activities for Division members within the Department of Pediatrics and across related areas of the Stanford School of Medicine, the Stanford Health Care system including LPCHS, and partner sites. Serve as Director of the Betty Irene Moore Children\'s Heart Center, working with the cardiothoracic surgeon Executive Director and the LPCHS Executive Administrative Director to guide the Heart Center. Appointment at the level of Associate or Full Professor, in either the University Tenure Line or University Medical Line. Typically require an MD and board certification in Pediatrics and Pediatric Cardiology; other disciplines with comparable experience will be considered. Advance a major commitment to research and teaching for University Tenure Line appointments; emphasize excellence in clinical care, teaching, scholarly activity, and institutional service for University Medical Line appointments. Division Context
The Division\'s activities include cutting-edge clinical care, research, and education on campus and at partner sites in California and the Western U.S. There are over 50 faculty with primary academic appointments in the Division, six fellows per year in the ACGME-accredited categorical fellowship, six fellows per year in one-year advanced fellowships, and ten dedicated administrative staff. The Moore Children\'s Heart Center comprises over 250 dedicated faculty and staff, including 10 pediatric cardiothoracic surgeons, 11 pediatric cardiac anesthesiologists, three radiologists specializing in advanced cardiac imaging, and 200 cardiovascular nurses and advanced practice providers. The team cares for children with complex congenital and acquired heart diseases; surgeons perform approximately 1,000 heart surgeries per year at LPCHS and partner sites. The Division also participates in education of pediatric residents, critical care fellows, cardiac anesthesia fellows, and students at Stanford University. Equal Opportunity

The fixed compensation range for the position is $419K-$520K for Associate Professors and $494K-$593K for Professors.
