Role ABOUT THIS ROLE: Audible is seeking a Manager, Strategy & Planning to support our Corporate Strategy team. This role reports to the Head of Strategic Planning & Corporate Development and is primarily focused on strategic planning, with exposure to broader corporate strategy and select partnership-related initiatives. This role sits at the intersection of Corporate Strategy, Business Operations, and Finance. You will regularly support leadership reviews, planning forums, and executive discussions, requiring strong judgment around framing, messaging, and level of detail. This is a high-visibility, execution-oriented role suited for candidates with strong analytical judgment, executive-ready communication, and the ability to operate effectively in ambiguous environments. Success in this role requires comfort engaging with senior stakeholders, synthesizing complex inputs quickly, and delivering high-quality work under tight timelines by prioritizing effectively and exercising strong judgment.

Responsibilities

Support senior leaders across Audible in evaluating strategic priorities tied to Audible’s long-term strategy and annual and long-range planning cycles

Synthesize industry insights, internal performance data, and stakeholder inputs into clear, decision-oriented recommendations grounded in Audible’s strategic objectives and operating realities

Lead defined components of Audible’s strategic and annual operating plan, partnering closely with Finance and Analytics to assess trade-offs, model resourcing and investment scenarios, and inform goal-setting and resource allocation decisions that shape operating plans and execution

Conduct structured analyses on industry, competitive, and macro trends impacting digital media, audio, and publishing, translating research into concise, executive-ready narratives

Work closely with cross-functional partners to earn alignment through analysis, clarity, and judgment, ensuring strategic insights are reflected in planning artifacts, operating goals, leadership reviews, and subsequent execution

Qualifications

Experience identifying and solving complex problems through data analysis

Experience managing complex projects and/or programs within a matrix environment

Experience delivering complex, data-driven recommendations to senior leaders

Experience identifying and aggregating trends, past performance metrics, and insights into effective narratives, with recommendations, to external senior leaders

Experience working in fast paced environments, and managing workload even during times of stress, or escalated activity

Knowledge of media business models

Experience working with global cross-functional teams

Experience in analytical roles such as management consulting, investment banking, corporate strategy, business operations, or a similar environment

Cross-functional and stakeholder management skills, with experience earning alignment through analysis, clarity, and judgment across Finance, Analytics, and Business stakeholder teams
