The Associate Media Director partners with Executive Directors and/or VPs to lead a team of Account Planners delivering media strategy, planning, buying, and performance analysis for agency clients. This role requires deep experience across traditional and digital media, strong leadership skills, and the ability to guide both branding and performance-driven campaigns. You\'ll serve as a trusted advisor to clients, oversee team development, ensure financial and operational excellence, and contribute to agency growth through new business development and pitch participation. Key Responsibilities
Lead, mentor, and develop the Account Planning team Build strong client relationships and guide media strategy across channels Oversee multiple client accounts, ensuring performance, financial, and process excellence Collaborate across departments and represent the agency in client meetings Identify opportunities for client growth and new business development Uphold agency standards, values, and a positive, collaborative culture Qualifications
8+ years of agency experience with deep knowledge of traditional and digital media Proven ability to translate client goals into measurable media strategies and KPIs Strong leadership, communication, and presentation skills Experience managing senior-level client relationships and multiple projects Analytical, results-driven, and proactive problem solver Proficiency with media planning tools; strong Excel and PowerPoint skills Bachelor\'s degree required This posting provides a summary of the role. While we maintain a highly flexible work culture for all, our local candidates are encouraged to use our updated office space in Sandy Hook, CT which allows you to take part in our office culture and team development that naturally occurs in office. In addition, if you need to take a break from work, there is a beautiful waterfall and serene stream just outside our front door. Candidates from outside the local area who are able to work during our core East Coast office hours, 8:30am-5:30pm ET, are encouraged to apply. Our team working remotely is invited to the office a minimum of two times per year for our Summer Party and again for the Holiday Party.
