Posted Thursday, January 29, 2026 at 5:00 AM Asset Director Senior Star is seeking an Asset Director to lead the thoughtful stewardship of our physical assets across all communities. This role plays a key part in ensuring our environments are safe, well-maintained, and designed to support exceptional experiences for residents and associates alike. The Asset Director provides strategic leadership for capital planning, major systems oversight, and renovation initiatives while partnering closely with executive, regional, and community leadership to position Senior Star for long-term success. Key Responsibilities Conduct annual asset and facility reviews for each community. Develop and manage short- and long-term capital plans, including multi-year forecasts aligned with organizational priorities. Build and submit annual capital budgets in partnership with the COO and CFO. Oversee capital projects, renovations, and major system replacements with a focus on quality, safety, and continuity of care. Monitor capital expenditures, trends, and unplanned costs; recommend mitigation strategies. Partner with community teams to support asset needs Provide regular reporting and recommendations to executive and regional leadership. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, Construction Management, Business, or a related field. 5+ years of experience in asset management, facilities, capital planning, or construction oversight. Demonstrated experience managing capital budgets and multi-site projects. Strong working knowledge of building systems and life safety requirements.
