Specialty Medical Staffing is currently recruiting for a Director of Pharmacy for a hospital in the Morgantown, WV area. This is a
full-time leadership role
within a tight-knit pharmacy team.
This DOP role is accountable for the
clinical oversight, operational performance, staff leadership, and regulatory compliance
of the pharmacy department.
Key Responsibilities:
Directing daily pharmacy operations and medication distribution activities
Maintaining compliance with federal, state, and accreditation standards
Overseeing medication safety initiatives and quality improvement efforts
Supporting onboarding, training, and professional development of pharmacy staff
Participating in medication therapy oversight and utilization review
Developing and maintaining clinically focused pharmacy services
Requirements:
Active West Virginia Pharmacist license
Minimum 3 years of hospital pharmacy experience
Experience ensuring compliance with Joint Commission, CMS, and regulatory standards
