Role Summary

The Director, Trade Accounts maintains an ownership mentality and is responsible for customer relationship management, negotiations, contracting, business planning, and ensuring contractual obligations are met and future initiatives are executed to meet / exceed organizational goals. The Director will collaborate with key internal stakeholders to identify growth opportunities and implement innovative, patient-centric solutions. This position reports to the Executive Director, Trade and Specialty Distribution. Responsibilities

Develop breadth and depth of NASH disease state, Rezdiffra therapy and overarching Madrigal commercialization strategy knowledge Administer, negotiate, and execute IDN contracts according to established goals, objectives and timelines Responsible for building rapport / maintaining collaborative Madrigal partnerships with contracted IDN accounts (i.e., including but not limited to requirement setting, sourcing and contracting, and ongoing performance management) Represent Madrigal, in collaboration with the Key Account Director (KAD) team, as a point of contact for contract focused activities for respective IDN accounts including travel to organizations and key conferences to conduct live business meetings Collaborate closely with key field teams (i.e. KADs, Sales, MPS, etc.) on key initiatives and inquiries related to contracting status, timelines, escalations, etc. Consistently evaluate existing IDN channel opportunities with a focus on impact, and support initiatives related to enhancing the model Create business plans focused on SMART goals and objectives aligned with key Madrigal leadership and Market Access Strategic Imperatives Collaborate closely with Madrigal KAD team to proactively communicate IDN intel across Madrigal stakeholders Manage IDN escalations by identifying innovative, collaborative, cross-functional and team driven solutions Develop and communicate key messages to internal and external IDN partners Collaborate with IDN, MPS, and Data Analytics counterparts to deliver measurable business outcomes and influence change management across internal teams focused on KPIs Ensure highest level of ethics, quality, and compliance by demonstrating in depth knowledge of laws that govern market access and channel activities Conduct all activities in compliance with all applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations and company policies Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree in Business or Pharmacy preferred 10+ years of related experience in the biopharma industry with a proven, consistent history of high performance in a broad range of customer-facing roles 10+ years of experience in Trade/Patient Support customer facing related roles with increasing responsibilities Experience with distribution strategy and customer contracting Ability to develop insights from data trends to improve program performance Experience with pre-launch drugs and new product launches Ability to work effectively within cross-functional teams and in an environment of rapid and constant change Excellent written, organizational, verbal, presentation, and communication skills Proficient in MS Office products including PowerPoint, Word, and Excel Ability to travel as needed for role responsibilities Education

Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree in Business or Pharmacy preferred Skills
