
Role Summary
Lead and direct all sales and marketing activity within the designated region through the field sales team to develop new accounts and maintain or expand existing accounts. Execute the company’s sales strategy and regional sales/market penetration goals. Implement and execute sales initiatives within the region and establish and sustain revenue growth and market penetration. Develop and implement region-wide strategies to increase market share by targeting physician practices, hospitals, wound care clinics, medical centers, surgical centers, and related entities within the sales representatives’ assigned territory. Responsibilities
Participate in the planning, development, and implementation of key accounts with the field sales team Achieve regional sales goals within the established budget Provide strong leadership in the selection, development, coaching, and retention of field sales representatives Develop, direct, and update orientation program for new field sales representatives Monitor development of sales abilities and skills through direct observation and review of territory metrics Provide assistance to field sales representatives with patient-specific reimbursement issues Promote a collaborative relationship with the corporate reimbursement function to ensure effective reimbursement support Motivate regional staff through clear definition of sales tasks and methods to achieve goals Foster a goal-oriented regional environment emphasizing performance, accountability, teamwork, credibility, and success Coordinate sales activities with other departments, acting as liaison between field sales and management Prepare timely reports of departmental activity and monitor expense reports Research, analyze, and monitor region-specific sales factors to capitalize on opportunities Prepare and submit regional sales forecasts and analyses of opportunities, barriers, and growth strategies Establish regional plans to achieve revenue and sales goals for budget year and strategic plan timeframe Establish sales objectives by creating territory-by-territory plans and quotas to support regional objectives Ensure all regional activities comply with company policies and procedures Qualifications
Required: Bachelor’s degree Preferred: MBA Required: 3+ years of progressive sales management experience, preferably in the medical device and tissue segments of the healthcare industry Required: Experience in high-growth organizations and developing brands that fueled growth Required: Proven track record of growing revenue in a related business or market segment Skills
Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication with a focus on customer service Strategic prospecting and active listening Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, etc.) Organized, flexible, and able to multi-task with high efficiency and attention to detail Ability to influence others to achieve results through tenacity and diplomacy Strong analytical, strategic, and problem-solving skills with quantitative analysis capability Effective presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills Executive-level business acumen, sound judgment, and drive with a history of meeting/exceeding objectives High energy, creativity, flexibility, and results orientation with ability to lead and mentor a sales team Broad understanding of sales and marketing planning/execution and ability to build a top-notch team Ability to communicate regional strategies to senior management and lead the team in implementation Education

Work is performed at customer/clinical sites and/or home office; travel locally and/or long distance within the assigned territory on a regular basis Dress code at customer sites (scrubs and white coat) and adherence to credentialing and vaccination requirements
