Thomson Reuters is seeking a self-motivated individual with indirect tax experience to join our Professional Services team as an Implementation Consultant, focusing on implementations of Thomson Reuters ONESOURCE Indirect Tax technology solutions. Consultant will support projects pertaining to the development and implementation of ONESOURCE Indirect Tax products. They will collaborate with management in ONESOURCE Engineering, Product Management, Customer Support, and Sales. They will drive process improvement and operational scaling. This is a hybrid role - we work 3 days a week from our office in Gdansk, Poland. A variable amount of travel to client site is expected (estimated at between 10%-25%). ONESOURCE: ONESOURCE is designed to provide tax software solutions for multinational corporations and accounting professionals. ONESOURCE solutions cover a broad range of taxes including Direct Tax Compliance and reporting, Indirect Tax determination and Compliance, Tax Planning and Workflow Management. Responsibilities

Be in regular, direct contact with clients, by email, telephone and face-to-face, throughout the entire project life cycle. Perform technical or functional roles on medium to large international projects, led by a Project Manager, ONESOURCE Partner, or Customer. Work with clients’ Tax and IT teams to understand their requirements and business processes. Implement the ONESOURCE Indirect Tax software for clients – analyzing requirements, designing and documenting the solution, configuring the software to meet client’s needs, testing, supporting the client during rollout, etc. Scope out a project based on business requirements and achievable benefits. Recommend optimal system configuration and business processes based on industry best practices. Identify and develop upsell opportunities within assigned customer projects. Have strong commitment to customer excellence, with minimal to no customer escalations for services issues. Engage with other key teams within the business (e.g. product, engineering, sales and support) and partner organisations. Assist with presales activities – e.g. software demonstrations, scoping new prospects, etc. Key Relationships

Work with partners on professional services engagements to configure and implement ONESOURCE Indirect Tax Determination, ONESOURCE Indirect Compliance and ONESOURCE E-invoicing. Engage with other Thomson Reuters teams to deliver end-to-end indirect tax solutions, in particular assisting sales in business development. Liaise with colleagues to assist with pre-sales activities such as software demonstrations or scoping/assessing new opportunities. Work with colleagues in a matrix organisation, developing key internal relationships with peers across the organisation. About You

To be our Implementation Consultant, you will likely have: Specialized Industry knowledge: experience in Indirect Tax (e.g. VAT, GST), Research or Consulting OR knowledge in Indirect Tax Compliance and Reporting Eagerness to learn and adapt to technologies and tools. Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills and experience of working with clients and project teams Excellent organisational and analytical skills, with a methodical approach to work, problem solving and troubleshooting Creative, innovative, and flexible approach, with the ability to work in a matrix environment Strong cross team/group/org collaboration skills; ability to foresee and analyze project risks, develop risk management plan and mitigate subsequent issues Proficiency in Microsoft Office Preferred Skills and Experience

Technical and Functional Expertise: functionally proficient with tax engine solutions AND compliance solutions Experience with process/software gap analysis and resolution An understanding of end-to-end financial processes (i.e. OTC or PTP) and systems Experience with process analysis, design, mapping and re-engineering Education/ Certifications

A bachelor’s degree or professional qualification in Tax or Accounting (e.g. ACA, ACCA, ATT, CTA) What’s in it For You?

Thomson Reuters complies with local laws that require upfront disclosure of the expected pay range for a position. The base compensation range varies across locations. For Poland, the base compensation range for this role is 115,500 PLN - 214,500 PLN. Base pay is positioned within the range based on knowledge, skills and experience, with consideration given to internal equity. Base pay is one part of a comprehensive Total Reward program which also includes benefits and wellbeing programs. This role may also be eligible for an Annual Bonus based on enterprise and individual performance. About Us
