ProductionHUB is hiring: Contract Social Media Producer – Science & Tech Video P

Overview

I host a video podcast spotlighting scientist founders and innovators accelerating scientific discovery. I’m looking for a contract social media producer to support ongoing episode distribution.

Responsibilities

• Graphics: Create video clip thumbnails and light motion graphics using existing templates
• Copy: Draft and package all episode-related copy – descriptions, links, platform-specific posts, and guest promo emails – for review and approval
• Distribution: Upload, optimize, and schedule full episodes, clips, and vertical teaser reels on YouTube and Spotify, including thumbnails and metadata
• Production: Maintain a simple content calendar, coordinate with the host and editor for required assets, and track basic performance to suggest light iteration

Workflow

• Established templates and examples are already in place (Canva, Google Docs, etc.)
• You’ll be extending an existing style and system, not starting from scratch

Engagement

• Start with one episode
• If there’s a strong mutual fit, I’m looking to build a longer-term working relationship

Ideal Fit

• Experience supporting long-form podcasts or creator-led channels
• Strong writing for smart, technical audiences, with the ability to make complex topics clear and compelling
• Interest in science, biotech, or deep tech is a plus
• Comfortable working from transcripts and clips
