Graphic Utility
Summary
The Graphic Utility supports printing operations by assisting the Printing Press team with daily production tasks. This role follows all safety, quality, and compliance requirements, including SQF standards and company workplace policies and procedures.
Essential Functions
\u2022 Follow instructions provided by the Press Operator
\u2022 Assist with make-ready procedures, including plate changes, ink changes, and blanket changes
\u2022 Load and deliver board to and from the printing press
\u2022 Conduct preventive maintenance activities as assigned
\u2022 Perform quality control checks to ensure print standards are met
\u2022 Properly dispose of printing waste and scrap materials
\u2022 Replenish pressroom supplies as needed
\u2022 Maintain accurate production and maintenance records
\u2022 Perform other duties as assigned to support business needs
Qualifications / Requirements
\u2022 Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to understand the printing process end to end
\u2022 Ability to learn press operations and workflows
\u2022 Commitment to following safety and quality standards
Essential Skills
\u2022 Effective written and verbal communication skills
\u2022 Basic computer skills, including familiarity with Windows-based software
\u2022 Pallet jack certification or ability to obtain certification
\u2022 Forklift certification or ability to obtain certification
\u2022 Roll clamp truck certification or ability to obtain certification
Protective Equipment Required
\u2022 Safety glasses
\u2022 Safety shoes
\u2022 Earplugs
\u2022 Cut-resistant gloves
\u2022 Hairnet and beard net (if applicable)
\u2022 Hard hat when required
Physical Requirements
