
Communications & Events Intern
HealthBridge Financial is seeking a motivated, creative, and detail-oriented Communications & Events Intern to support promotional events, internal and external content creation, and other initiatives on the Marketing and Communications Team.
We are a healthcare-focused financial services company that delivers financial products designed to support patients' financial needs. Our solutions are offered through a business-to-business (B2B) sales model to healthcare providers to improve the patient financial experience.
The internship offers experience in coordinating events, developing print and digital materials, collaborating with multiple stakeholders, and providing general administrative support. The ideal candidate is eager to learn, well-organized, and interested in gaining broad experience in our Marketing and Communications Team.
Position Type: 6 month Internship
Hours: 10-20 hours per week
Location: In-person in Grand Rapids, Michigan
Key Activities
Support the planning and execution of sales and marketing events:
Assist with coordinating booth materials, managing deadlines and vendors. Support event logistics including packing and shipping booth materials and managing timeline for shipping and setup. Assist with keeping inventory and ordering branded promotional products and swag for internal and external needs
Participate in coordinating social media for a B2B setting:
Assist with writing and designing engaging social media content for LinkedIn. Assist with scheduling approved content on social media publishing tool. Help research industry related articles and concepts for LinkedIn posts. Help track basic engagement metrics (likes, impressions, follower growth) to understand what content performs best.
Gain exposure to producing print materials and presentations:
Assist with creating content clients, internal employee communications, product communications, sales support, and others as needed. Help collaborate with graphic designer and Marketing and Communications team members on content and design. Assist with managing requests from internal Marketing and Communications Request Portal. Help order print materials with vendors and coordinate distribution of materials.
Required
Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in communications or marketing in a college of business or communications, or similarbachelor'sdegree. Strong written communication skills for documentation, online content, presentations. Ability to manage multiple tasks while meeting deadlines in a supportive, team-based environment. Preferred
Familiarity with Canva or similar graphic design tools. Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel). Interest in learning social media publishing and reporting tool.
