
Leasing Consultant

Company Overview Asset Living is a third‑party property‑management firm founded in 1986 that specializes in multifamily, single‑family, affordable housing, build‑to‑rent, active adult, and student housing divisions. Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Show, lease, and move in prospective residents; greet, qualify, tour the community, and sign a lease.
Conduct all functions necessary to close the sale, including making appointments, generating new leads, conducting tours, maintaining model units, and following up as needed.
Complete all leasing paperwork before move‑in and assist with lease audits, walking units, and turn process.
Maintain accurate prospect traffic and leasing data, responding to prospect leads within 24 hours.
Utilize established sales and marketing strategies to increase property traffic and maintain closing ratios to achieve leasing goals.
Perform various administrative tasks as needed.
Deal with resident complaints, concerns, and requests to ensure resident satisfaction.
Assist in developing and implementing resident retention programs (resident functions, special promotions, monthly newsletter, etc.).
Contribute to the upkeep and cleaning of office, common areas, and models.
Assist in implementing the annual marketing plan outreach.
Review and assist in completing market surveys and analyses to generate ideas and formulate plans.
Maintain thorough product knowledge of the property and competition, completing weekly market survey reports.
Manage excellent customer service and monitor service request turnaround and responsiveness.
Project a favorable image of the community to achieve property objectives and public recognition.
Ensure consistency in dealing with residents on all matters.
Enforce policies of the community as delegated by the immediate supervisor.
Education & Experience
High School Diploma or Equivalent.
Basic computer skills and understanding of on‑site software functions.
Basic knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.
Physical Requirements
Regularly move about to accomplish tasks, communicate with others, and repeat motions involving wrists, hands, and fingers.
Often ascending/descending ladders, stairs, scaffolding, ramps, and step stools, and standing or sitting for prolonged periods.
Occasionally move objects up to 25 lbs., operate machinery and power tools, operate vehicles and golf carts, work overtime, weekends, night hours, and in various environmental conditions.
Benefits & Compensation At Asset Living, compensation decisions are based on skill set, background, training, and certifications. The offer includes a total rewards package: medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance; 401(k) with employer matching; commission and performance bonuses (when applicable); paid sick days; and company holidays.
Salary Range : $14.00 to $16.00 per hour.
