The Planet Group
is seeking a
Visual Designer
to join our well-known lifestyle brand technology client on a roughly 10-month contract. This is a full-time, 40 hour per week role working a remote schedule.
Visual Designer
Qualifications: Bachelors in visual design or equivalent A strong portfolio that clearly shows applied work, systems thinking, and craft 4+ years of experience with end-to-end visual design background Passion for systems design: developing standards and design templates that create huge impact through simple solutions Sensibility for craft, composition, imagery, typography, iconography and color Collaborative approach to design, and can articulate ideas and rationale behind design decisions in both written and verbal environments Ability to take part in multiple projects at once Strong knowledge of design tools; fluent with Figma Motion skills a plus Strong Photoshop and Illustrator knowledge After Effects or similar is a plus, 3D skills a bonus. Join a diverse team of designers, writers, strategists, instructional designers, and marketers to help bring content to life Create content that helps define how the program's visual brand is expressed within the course content as well as own the organizational aspects of the visual system Create course content across multiple formats (eLearning, virtual, IRL) Contribute to the evolution of the program's visual identity within the eLearning space as well as across product, marketing and business channels Experiment, develop and execute resources, guidelines and templates that empower the team to create beautiful and thoughtful brand expressions Iterate quickly and communicate ideas within the project team, with the ability to receive feedback constructively as well as provide input to others' work Deliver design assets for both scoped and ambiguous problems from initial idea to artwork ready file
