Selectek has an immediate need for an

Entry-Level Mechanical Engineer

to join their team in a

Designer role.

This is an excellent opportunity for a recent engineering graduate or early-career professional looking to apply their 3D CAD skills and mechanical knowledge in a hands-on engineering environment.

Key Responsibilities: Prepare detailed drawings, layouts, and sketches of parts and equipment used for engineering and fabrication.

Create and maintain

Bills of Material (BOMs)

for assemblies and sub-assemblies.

Review and process production orders to ensure accuracy and completeness.

Perform

mechanical, electrical, and structural calculations

related to drawing preparation.

Implement design changes under the direction of senior engineers or designers, ensuring technical accuracy and compliance with standards. Requirements:

Bachelor's degree (BSME or BSMET)

in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.

Strong 3D CAD experience

(SolidWorks preferred).

Solid understanding of

mechanical design principles

and manufacturing processes.

Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.

Ability to work collaboratively within a design and production team.

Pay:

$25.00-$27.00/hr Term:

6-months temp to perm
