JOB DESCRIPTION
Contract role running through the end of 2026 with potential for extension or conversion depending on business needs.
Standard business hours:
Monday-Friday, 8AM-5PM EST .
This position supports a highvolume intake operations team responsible for processing member and provider requests across multiple communication channels.
This role requires strong attention to detail, accuracy in documentation, and the ability to triage and route inquiries efficiently. Candidates with prior healthcare, insurance, or triagebased experience tend to excel in this environment.
Skills Ranked in Order of Importance
Intake processing experience (healthcare or insurance preferred) Highvolume customer support via phone/email Data entry accuracy and documentation skills Ability to triage and route inquiries appropriately
Must Haves
3+ years of experience
in a related field (intake, call center, claims, healthcare admin, or similar) Experience reviewing, screening, and processing requests with accuracy Ability to verify benefits, eligibility, or provider information Strong written documentation skills Ability to follow established workflows and meet timeliness standards Comfortable handling multiple communication channels (phone, email, fax, mail) Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize throughout the day Nice to Have:
Medicare experience Health insurance experience Background in triage or highvolume request routing Strong communication skills Job Responsibilities
Process incoming member and provider requests across phone, email, fax, and mail Review submissions for accuracy and completeness Document all relevant information and attach supporting materials Route unresolved or complex inquiries to the appropriate internal teams Verify member benefits, eligibility, and provider setup Maintain and update service requests; research missing or incorrect data Triage and assign incoming inquiries throughout the day Conduct monthly peer audits as required Provide outcome notifications to members and providers (verbal and written) Support team leads by identifying trends or training needs Assist with special projects as assigned Hiring Requirements
High school diploma or GED 3+ years of relevant experience Ability to work East Coast business hours
