We are looking for an experienced, mission-driven Director of Dietary Services who brings strong leadership, regulatory expertise, and a resident-centered approach to nutrition. The ideal candidate is a strategic, hands-on leader who excels in menu planning, compliance, team development, and delivering high-quality dietary services in both residential and long-term care settings. How This Position Contributes to Our Mission

Ensures residents receive nutritious, well-balanced meals that support health, dignity, and overall quality of life Maintains compliance with National School Lunch Program requirements and long-term care dietary standards Leads and develops dietary staff to deliver consistent, high-quality service Oversees dietary operations that support safety, wellness, and trauma-informed care Collaborates with clinical, educational, and operational partners to meet diverse resident needs A Day in the Life

This role blends strategic oversight with daily operational leadership, supporting dietary services across multiple programs. A typical day includes collaborating with internal partners, mentoring staff, ensuring compliance, and continuously improving menus and service delivery. Develops and implements menus aligned with nutritional guidelines, special diets, and resident preferences Conducts nutritional analysis and quality assurance reviews of dietary services Oversees regulatory compliance with local, state, and federal health and safety standards Manages dietary services budgets with a focus on quality and cost-effectiveness Supervises and trains dietary leadership and staff Communicates menus, dietary changes, and nutritional information to residents, families, and staff Skills and Qualifications

In-depth knowledge of nutritional requirements, menu planning, and dietary regulations Experience with school nutrition programs and long-term care dietary services Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills Ability to manage budgets, analyze data, and oversee operations effectively Proficiency with Microsoft Office and nutrition-related software Compassion for our mission and a genuine desire to enhance residents’ quality of life What You’ll Receive as a Valued Member of Home of the Innocents
