How you’ll make an impact The Senior HR Business Partner aligns human resources processes, programs and systems with the business strategies and objectives. The successful Senior HR Business Partner acts as a coach and consultant for employees and managers regarding the application of total rewards, learning and development, individual and team performance, organization design, and talent management processes and programs. This position is the single point of contact and supports designated client groups. Collaborates with Corporate HR to support the business needs of LifeNet Health.

What you’ll do

Organization Development Consulting: Identify and apply tactics to ensure engagement and alignment of employees across the organization, ensuring organization effectiveness and efficiency. Partner with leaders to develop effective structures, systems, processes and skills to support business goals and talent requirements. Apply change management processes to sustain collaboration and a work environment that encourages ongoing improvements and innovation. Lead talent reviews, performance management, team development, culture/work environment surveys and action planning. Measure effectiveness and communicate results to management teams quarterly. Support leaders in conducting the talent review process and in planning for future talent and skills sets to stay competitive and anticipate emerging capabilities.

Organization Leadership/Business Partner: Understand the industry and the internal/external environment that impacts the organization. Knowledgeable about the organization’s strategic direction, annual corporate business plan and client groups’ annual business plans. Identify and address HR issues and opportunities which may affect the execution of these plans. Consult with HR leadership and leaders to develop solutions, action plans, and measures of success. Participate in HR annual strategy planning and goal setting to ensure alignment with the business.

Employee Relations: Anticipate, identify, and facilitate resolution of employee relations issues. Act as an internal consultant for employees and management. Work with HR, legal, and others to ensure high-quality solutions in line with LNH values and applicable laws. Conduct thorough investigations as needed. Provide policy guidance and interpretation. Advise management on appropriate resolution of employee relations issues. Coach and influence employees and management through complex, difficult, and emotional issues. Seek consultation from HR Director and/or legal counsel as needed. Prepare employee separation notices and related documentation, conduct exit interviews, and participate in unemployment hearings and related appeals as required.

Learning and Development: Identify appropriate learning and development solutions for individuals, teams, and the organization. Work with leaders and employees to create meaningful development and career plans. Develop and deliver HR training offerings. Serve as a trainer for leadership and soft skills topics. Train and mentor other HRBPs and HR team members.

Total Rewards Management: In partnership with the Total Rewards Team, assist in the development, implementation and communication of total rewards programs. Help identify and develop innovative reward/recognition programs to address the organization’s needs.

Talent Acquisition & Retention: Partner with Talent Acquisition to update or create job descriptions. Provide TA support for senior-level leaders and key positions. Develop and implement retention strategies and programs. Assist in interviewing candidates and onboarding new employees.

What you’ll bring Minimum Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field

Six (6) years of experience in HR management/business partner role

Three (3) years of HR specialty experience in OD/LD or employee relations

Preferred Experience/Skills/Certifications:

Master’s degree in HR, Organizational Development, Learning & Development, Business, or related field

HR Certification: SPHR or equivalent

Ten (10) years of experience in HR management/business partner role

Demonstrated skill operating in a global matrix environment with a track record in fast-paced life science or technology

Working knowledge of LEAN principles and application

Organizational Development: Knowledge and application of organizational design, total rewards, performance management, change management, talent management, team development, learning strategies, and employee relations.

Communication: Strong oral and written communication skills with the ability to manage conflict, mediate, and influence positively.

Program Development: Experience implementing talent development systems, team development, values development, retention and recognition programs, diversity and inclusion initiatives, etc.

Project Management: Ability to lead projects and teams.

Collaboration: Strong team leadership and collaboration skills.

Employee Engagement: Experience developing and implementing engagement strategies and tactics.

Prioritization: Ability to prioritize rapidly with strong problem-solving and analytical/decision-making skills; manage multiple projects.

Computer: Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with HR systems (HRMS, Payroll, LMS).

Compensation Salary Range: $100,306 to $133,741 annually

Final compensation will be based on geographic location, qualifications, and experience.
