Responsibilities
Communicating with owners, subcontractors, and vendors.
Reviewing and understanding contract specifications and drawings.
Identifying, defining, and quantifying potential project risks.
Performing quantity take-offs and scope reviews for estimate preparation.
Developing pricing based on historical production data.
Evaluating and comparing subcontractor/supplier quotes.
Conducting site visits and performing research and exploration before bid.
Qualifications
7-10 years of commercial estimating experience.
Experience with conceptual and design-build estimates.
Vista Estimating software experience desired, as well as scheduling software such as SmartSheet.
Maintaining relationships with local subcontractors, architects, and clients.
High School education.
