Role Summary
Global Head, Patient-Driven Outcomes Solutions (PDOS) leads a global team to ensure patient priorities are deeply integrated into the evidence generation of clinical programs, delivering differentiated value to internal and external stakeholders. Defines and leads Sanofi’s global strategy for patient-driven outcomes across therapeutic areas to deliver best-in‑class products recognized by patients, healthcare professionals, regulators, and payers. Partners with R&D leadership to integrate patient perspectives into clinical development evidence generation using digital health, AI, and real-world data to transform evidence generation, regulatory strategy, and value assessment. Location: Cambridge, MA; Morristown, NJ. Travel expected as part of the role. Responsibilities
Manage and direct the Clinical Outcomes Assessment Scientists team with cross-reporting responsibilities for digital biomarkers and ePRO teams within Clinical Sciences & Operations. Define and lead the global strategy for patient-driven outcomes across therapeutic areas to democratize evidence and demonstrate value to patients, clinicians, regulators, and payers. Position PDOS as part of the patient disease strategy, linking early evidence generation to labeling, regulatory, and payer decisions. Advise R&D leadership and project teams on integrating patient perspectives into clinical development using advanced modeling and measurement capabilities. Develop and lead a high‑performing team of clinical outcomes scientists with expertise in digital capabilities and novel measurement frameworks. Build and manage cross‑functional teams of experts in PROs, digital health, AI, and patient engagement. Foster a culture of collaboration, inclusion, and continuous learning. Qualifications
Education: Advanced degree in health economics, qualitative and quantitative research related to COAs. Experience: 15+ years in the pharmaceutical/biotech/healthcare industry; 10+ years in a senior leadership role focused on patient-driven outcomes, digital health, and real-world evidence integration; proven track record of COA-related innovation and patient-centered submissions; recognized thought leader in the domain. Skills: Deep understanding of clinical development, regulatory science, clinical outcomes, and health economics; expertise in digital health technologies and AI/ML; strong leadership, communication, and cross‑functional collaboration; experience in a global, matrixed environment. Education
Advanced degree in a relevant discipline related to COAs (health economics, qualitative/quantitative research). Skills
