The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring the safe, reliable, and efficient management of the company's power operations. In this leadership position, you will foster a safety-focused, high-performance culture while managing operational budgets and striving to meet P&L targets. As the Director, you’ll oversee asset strategy, including the incorporation of new assets, while ensuring compliance with all regulatory, environmental, and safety standards. Building robust relationships with internal and external stakeholders—including regulators, strategic customers, and suppliers—will be essential. Applicants should possess a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, particularly in electrical or power systems, along with postgraduate qualifications in business administration. Experience in engineering management or leadership is highly regarded. The ideal candidate will have a successful track record within the energy sector, specifically in electricity transmission and renewables, and experience managing medium to large-scale operational teams and complex energy infrastructure assets. This role requires a strategic thinker capable of aligning operational practices with broader business goals and energy transition objectives, alongside a dedication to continuous improvement and business continuity planning.
