The Team The Healthcare Industry Group at A&M is leading transformational change within the healthcare sector. We are known for delivering tangible results to healthcare executives, boards, private equity firms, and government agencies, advising on financial and operational performance improvements, strategic growth, and unlocking value across the investment lifecycle. Our expertise includes interim management, restructuring, revenue cycle management, compliance, digital technology, and analytics. As part of our Healthcare Services practice, you will engage with a diverse range of clients, including health systems, physician groups, medical schools, managed care organizations, and healthcare investors. Technology Assessment:

Support the assessment and analysis of technology platforms, data architectures, system integrations, and infrastructure to identify opportunities for value enhancement and risk mitigation. Performance Improvement/Operational Turnaround:

Utilize proven methodologies to assess organizations quickly and identify key factors affecting performance. Cost Optimization:

Engage in a holistic program focused on identifying high-impact opportunities to improve EBITDA and streamline operational costs. M&A Services:

Facilitate operational due diligence, integration planning, and post-deal support throughout the M&A lifecycle. Finance Operations:

Drive enhancements in finance operations, including reporting and month-end closing processes. Interim Management:

Occasionally provide interim leadership in roles such as CEO, COO, or CFO while recruiting for permanent positions. How You Will Contribute As a Director, you will collaborate closely with healthcare clients on intricate assignments that incorporate critical technology considerations. Your responsibilities will typically include: Identifying opportunities to redesign technology and operations to significantly reduce costs and improve overall structure. Optimizing the technology stack to drive improvements and providing insights on essential IT investments to support strategic decision-making. Developing models for IT synergies and managing integrations pre- and post-M&A. Guiding clients through crises and assisting with performance improvement plans. Conducting data analysis to establish KPIs for meaningful organizational change. Leading multiple workstreams, managing project priorities, and delivering client-ready presentations and recommendations. Mentoring junior staff and fostering their professional growth. Building rapport with clients and exploring opportunities for business expansion. Supporting marketing initiatives by preparing pitches and marketing materials. By cultivating consultative relationships, you will gain a deep understanding of clients' financial standings and operational performance, allowing you to address key business issues effectively. Your ability to communicate and solve problems will be critical as you present analyses and insights to various stakeholders. Qualifications We seek a proactive and collaborative individual who excels in fast-paced environments. In this role, you should bring: 12+ years of experience in healthcare consulting or a related field focusing on healthcare IT. Expertise in IT M&A perspectives, including integration and transformation. Experience with industry-leading clinical applications (e.g., EMR/EHR), and med tech manufacturing applications. Advanced analytical and reporting skills, with proficiency in Excel and financial modeling. Exceptional project management abilities and organizational skills. A comprehensive understanding of the healthcare industry, including finance, operations, and regulations. Strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to engage with all levels of client personnel. A willingness to travel as needed. A BA/BS degree or MBA/MS in Accounting, Finance, or a relevant healthcare field. Your Journey at A&M At A&M, our people drive our success. The annual base salary for this role ranges from $160,000 to $180,000, commensurate with experience, along with a discretionary bonus program.
