About the Role
We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Director of Cybersecurity and Privacy Risk to spearhead the advancement of our Information Security Governance and Risk initiatives. In this pivotal position, you will be responsible for creating, updating, and maintaining essential policies, standards, processes, and procedures aligned with our Information Security Policy.
Your key duties will include coordinating and prioritizing significant initiatives, formalizing cybersecurity risk controls, and guiding your team to ensure compliance with applicable regulations and continuous control monitoring. We seek candidates who have established themselves as innovative thinkers in addressing complex IT risk management challenges.
A strong foundation in the identification, design, and oversight of cybersecurity policies and procedures is crucial. Additionally, you should possess expertise in data analytics tools and technologies for assessing cyber threats, risks, and vulnerabilities. Your ability to prepare and effectively communicate key information across the organization will be essential.
Qualified candidates will hold a Bachelor's degree, have a minimum of 15 years of relevant work experience, and at least 10 years of supervisory experience. Ideally, you will have a robust background in the Information Technology or Information Security fields, particularly within professional services or legal environments.
Familiarity with project management best practices and knowledge of the NIST Cybersecurity Framework and IT Service Management will be highly advantageous.
