This role is an excellent opportunity for a specialist who excels at interpreting data within the advertising and sports marketing landscapes, and who has a proven history of collaborating with both customers and internal stakeholders to formulate new and enhanced analytics that foster business growth. Reporting to the US Head of Sports Sales Strategy, you will be at the forefront of innovation in the dynamic sports media industry as part of our Live Sports Sales team. Key Responsibilities: Lead the creation of marketplace analytics encompassing supply/demand trends, marketplace spending, viewership statistics, asset monetization, competitive positioning, and bid modeling for evolving sports rights. Drive the development, positioning, and deployment of novel proprietary sponsorship measurement tools that effectively track, quantify, and optimize brand activation, including customer sell-through and management of reporting processes. Collaborate closely with agency and advertising customers to discern their needs and identify gaps in sponsorship and media performance, aiming to uncover new avenues that distinguish our sports offerings and enhance revenue streams. Work in partnership with Product and Pricing & Planning teams to build dynamic modeling, forecasting, tracking, and asset management solutions that bolster our revenue capture and highlight growth potential. Team up with Measurement and Marketing groups to craft and scale customer-facing insights that support our sports rights and partnership initiatives, ensuring customer feedback is actively incorporated. Engage with Measurement and Finance teams to assess revenue impacts and customer adoption regarding shifts to currency measurement (1P and 3P). Gather critical insights from customers and Sales teams while collaborating with Product teams to drive ad-tech innovations that stimulate demand and revenue growth. Conduct comprehensive market research involving customers, competitors, and third-party partners to maintain a robust understanding of the marketing analytics landscape and to spot emerging trends, innovations, and opportunities. Manage internal mechanisms with pertinent Amazon stakeholders crucial for executing business objectives. Develop strategic frameworks and recommendation documents that offer guidance on product development priorities and resource allocation. Qualifications: Minimum of 7 years of experience in developing, negotiating, and executing business agreements. At least 7 years in business development, partnership management, or sourcing new business. 7+ years of professional or military experience. Proficient in writing technical articles, speaking at technology conferences, and contributing to open source initiatives. Demonstrated experience in developing and executing large-scope go-to-market strategies. Preferred Qualifications: Experience in developing, deploying, and managing AI products at a large scale. Strong capability to interface with a diverse client base (Enterprise, SMB, and Startups) and translate customer requirements into high-level architectural solutions. The base salary for this role ranges from $153,900 to $254,500 annually, depending on geographic markets, relevant knowledge, skills, and experience. In addition, Amazon offers a comprehensive total compensation package which may include equity, sign-on bonuses, and other forms of compensation, along with a full suite of medical, financial, and other benefits.
