About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Director of Data Center Operations to lead the operational strategy and enhance the performance of our multi-campus data center portfolio. In this key leadership position, you will overlook every aspect of data center operations, from site commissioning to maintenance, reliability, and optimization of efficiency with an emphasis on safety, uptime, and sustainability.
Your expertise will be instrumental in building and scaling a high-performing operations team, driving operational consistency and best practices across our network of sites. Strong collaboration with internal teams and external partners will be essential, and you will serve as a company representative to clients and Board members.
To qualify, you must have a minimum of 15 years experience in managing data center operations, with proven success in leading teams and overseeing substantial data center capacity. We are looking for a strategic leader with a strong data-driven approach, an operational mindset, and the executive presence necessary to engage effectively with C-Suite executives and Boards of Directors.
As the primary point of contact for operational updates, maintenance communications, and incident management, you will work closely with engineering, construction, and finance teams to optimize performance and investment outcomes. A graduate degree, such as an MBA, is essential, along with experience in data center development and construction.
