Job Summary

At the center of a complex and highly regulated electric grid environment, this role plays a critical part in balancing reliability, market efficiency, and innovation. We are seeking a visionary Enterprise Architecture Lead focused on Business Process Engineering to drive transformative, enterprise-wide change.

Job Description

Develop and maintain enterprise-level process architectures that provide visibility into business capabilities, process interdependencies, and system integrations Analyze and map current-state business processes to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, risks, and redundancies Lead cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for continuous improvement and breakthrough innovation Design and implement reengineered processes aligned with strategic objectives, regulatory obligations, and stakeholder expectations Evaluate and recommend technology-enabled solutions such as automation, predictive analytics, and intelligent workflows to improve operational efficiency and decision-making Build compelling business cases and ROI models for transformation initiatives, including artificial intelligence and advanced analytics adoption Monitor post-implementation performance and refine processes using data, metrics, and stakeholder feedback Champion a culture of innovation, agility, and data-driven decision-making across the organization Design future-state processes aligned with enterprise architecture principles, regulatory compliance requirements, and long-term strategic roadmaps Serve as a change agent and thought leader, driving adoption of modern business process and architecture practices Job Skills Required

Minimum of 8 years of experience in business process improvement, enterprise architecture, or large-scale transformation initiatives Strong facilitation, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence across organizational levels Enterprise architecture design and governance Business process analysis, modeling, and optimization Business Process Reengineering (BPR) and continuous improvement Cross-functional facilitation and workshop leadership Strategic planning and alignment with enterprise goals Stakeholder management and executive-level communication Process mapping and documentation (current-state and future-state) Systems integration and understanding of process-to-technology alignment Data-driven decision-making and performance measurement Change management and organizational transformation Development of business cases and ROI analysis Regulatory compliance awareness in highly regulated environments Problem-solving and root cause analysis Risk identification and mitigation Education

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or a related field (Master's degree preferred) Additional Requirements

Experience within an ISO/RTO, utility, or energy market environment is preferred Hands-on experience with Business Process Reengineering methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, BPMN) is preferred Familiarity with enterprise architecture frameworks such as TOGAF or Zachman is preferred Knowledge of regulatory frameworks (e.g., FERC, NERC, PUCT) and their impact on business processes and system design is preferred Deep understanding of electric grid operations and energy market functions is preferred Background in risk management or operational risk assessment is preferred
