Join our dynamic Health and Benefits Sales team at Mercer! We are looking for a talented individual to fill the role of Senior Health and Benefits Sales Consultant. This position requires a hybrid work model, with at least three days per week spent in our office located in Los Angeles, Salt Lake City, San Francisco, or Irvine.
As a Senior Health and Benefits Sales Consultant, you will harness Mercer's expertise to craft innovative sales strategies that tackle critical challenges in healthcare, financial security, and career development for both employers and their employees.
Your responsibilities will include:
Utilizing deep market insights and internal services to engage potential clients through strategic cold calls, generating interest and scheduling meetings or presentations.
Creating compelling sales proposals, presentations, and RFP responses that effectively address the complex needs of prospects and highlight the business value of our services.
Leading sophisticated sales processes from initial identification to closing, negotiating pricing, facilitating product discussions, and ensuring favorable financial outcomes for the business.
What we are looking for:
A BA/BS degree.
A proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales goals.
Experience selling to companies within the range of 100 to 5,000 employees.
In-depth experiential knowledge of the Employee Benefits or Health and Benefits consulting industry and products.
A strong network with access to C-suite level executives.

This position has a competitive base salary range of $97,000 to $194,500, depending on factors like experience, skills, training, location, and certifications. In addition to the base salary, this role may offer performance-based incentives and a comprehensive total rewards package, including benefits, tuition assistance, 401K savings plans, and employee assistance programs.
