Salesforce Functional Solution Architect Lead Job Description: As a Salesforce Functional Solution Architect Lead, you will play a critical role in designing innovative, scalable, and user-friendly Salesforce solutions that align with our business objectives and architecture standards. This position serves as a vital link between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring that our Salesforce implementations deliver substantial value and enhance operational efficiency. How You Will Make an Impact: Engage with business and IT stakeholders to collect and analyze functional requirements for Salesforce solutions. Lead functional design sessions to translate business needs into Salesforce capabilities, including Health Cloud, Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, and custom applications. Define solution architecture and ensure it aligns with Salesforce's out-of-the-box capabilities and industry best practices. Collaborate with technical architects and developers to ensure the effective implementation of functional designs. Manage the functional roadmap for Salesforce, including enhancements, integrations, and user experience improvements. Facilitate workshops and Joint Application Design (JAD) sessions to achieve consensus on features and workflows. Support change management and training by creating functional documentation and user guides. Conduct impact assessments for new features, releases, and integrations. Ensure compliance with data governance, security, and regulatory requirements within the Salesforce environment. Lead vendor evaluations and contribute to the overall platform strategy and selection. Mentor business analysts and junior team members. Implement improvements in system stability, performance, and scalability across critical business systems. Establish processes to eliminate barriers in projects and services, enhancing operational efficiency. Maintain a list of final enhancements and oversee application scope and objectives, ensuring quality specifications are prepared. Perform technical design reviews and code reviews. Verify that unit tests meet requirements and that system testing is complete and adheres to plans. Deliver technology solutions and oversee data information planning efforts. Coordinate on-call support and manage system monitoring processes. Own the technical development environment and work collaboratively with the Enterprise team. Minimum Requirements: Requires a BA/BS degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field and a minimum of 7 years of relevant experience, including extensive business and technical application experience. Preferred Skills, Capabilities, and Experiences: In-depth functional knowledge of Salesforce platforms (Health Cloud, Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, Marketing Cloud) is highly preferred. Experience with Salesforce configuration and declarative tools (Flows, Process Builder) is highly desirable. Strong understanding of the Healthcare Payer industry, particularly in Sales and Customer Relationship Management. Expertise in business process design, human-centered design, and optimization. Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive delivery of solutions. Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall SDLC methodologies. Exceptional communication and stakeholder engagement skills. Salesforce certifications (e.g., Salesforce Certified Administrator, Platform App Builder, or Architect) are preferred. For candidates working in-person or virtually in the location of Woodland Hills, CA, the salary range for this position is $144,440.00 to $216,660.00.
