The ideal candidate will take the lead in developing and executing innovative fundraising initiatives from a diverse range of private sources, implement impactful communication strategies, and drive the success of a significant Capital Campaign over the next three years. This pivotal role will involve cultivating new donor relationships, expanding our donor base, and working collaboratively with Executive Leadership and the Board of Directors to exceed our fundraising targets. As the Senior Philanthropy Executive, you will serve as a primary spokesperson for our organization, guide a dedicated development team, and enhance our brand and communication strategies. Candidates should possess at least 10 years of experience in the nonprofit sector, demonstrating a proven record in leadership within development departments and managing diverse donor relationships. Expertise in human services and experience with capital campaigns will be highly regarded. Successful candidates will showcase outstanding communication skills, a strong ability to build relationships, and the capacity to inspire and lead a high-performing team. Strategic planning skills and the ability to collaborate seamlessly with the CEO and Board of Directors are essential, alongside ensuring that our branding and communication strategies resonate with our mission.
