Responsibilities

Strategic Sourcing: Develop and implement sourcing strategies to achieve the company's cost, quality, and delivery objectives. Negotiate contracts, manage supplier relationships, and ensure the timely acquisition of materials and services. Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities across the sourcing and procurement functions.

External Manufacturing Management Establish and NPI products:

Oversee the management of external manufacturing partners to ensure compliance with quality standards and delivery schedules. Procurement: Focus on purchase order (PO) management, inventory control, and ensuring materials arrive on time. Negotiate with suppliers in alignment with the strategic sourcing group. Manage inventory levels to support production needs and minimize excess stock.

Supplier Management:

Establish and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers, ensuring alignment with the company's strategic goals. Risk Management:

Assess and mitigate risks associated with the supply chain, including supplier performance and market fluctuations. Team Leadership:

Lead and manage the sourcing and procurement teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment. Process Improvement:

Continuously improve sourcing and procurement processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. Compliance:

Ensure all sourcing and procurement activities comply with industry regulations and organizational policies. KPI-

build and align goals with the business, build KPI and measure accordingly. Reporting:

Provide regular updates and reports to the Vice President of Supply Chain on sourcing and procurement performance. Travel:

20% Domestic and/or International Travel

Qualifications

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management/ENG, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master's degree or MBA is preferred. Experience:

Minimum of 15 years of experience in sourcing and procurement, with at least 5 years in a leadership role within the medical device/Pharma industry. Skills: Strong negotiation and contract management skills. Excellent leadership and team management abilities. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. In-depth knowledge of the medical device industry and regulatory environment. Proven track record of successful sourcing and procurement strategies. Planning Systems: Demonstrated knowledge and experience with planning system implementation.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with global sourcing and supplier management. Familiarity with international regulatory requirements and market trends. Certification in Supply Chain Management (CSCP) or similar credentials.
