The Director will be called upon for the management of the end-to-end campaign activation process, overseeing a team of omni-channel activation experts. The Director is accountable for stewarding campaign performance and pacing. They provide oversight of the full team and ensure compliance and best practices. The Director assists the senior leaders with managing timelines and priorities to ensure high-quality, on-time deliverables. Beyond day-to-day team deliverables, they foster knowledge-sharing and support senior leaders with central tasks and are key to cultivating a culture of teamwork and collaboration. The Director is client-facing and able to expertly navigate and manage the client service experience.
KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY:
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Accountable for daily team operations and campaign excellence, ensuring best practices are evident in work of the activation team Responsible for maintaining processes to ensure successful campaign activation, troubleshooting, and optimization Ability to lead meetings and articulate optimizations, rationale, results, and recommendations in reporting commentary and on client calls, and address concerns as needed Generate RFP responses and develop tactical recommendations showcasing innovative thinking across platforms, audiences & content programs Translate business problems into activation strategies using Amplifi products (e.g., Advantage, Modern Media, dentsu.audiences, commerce/retail media constructs), with measurable KPIs across efficiency, effectiveness, and impact. Be an expert on the buying platforms, direct media buying processes, and internal dentsu products; support team with Q/A Identify and test emerging tech solutions and innovations, highlighting client value in results and sharing across client team Effectively manage expectations, timelines, and priorities Update team leads on team performance, campaign health, and strategic growth opportunities Contribute to thought leadership, POVs, or other shareable collateral that improves the overall level of knowledge across digital and programmatic investment teams Assist leadership with new business pitches Contribute to forecasting and revenue related projects Partner with Solutions to bring principal/proprietary offerings to life; with Partnerships/Commercial on supply strategy and deal economics; with DTA on data, tech, and measurement; and with Revenue Ops on compliant processes. EXPERIENCE/KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent 7+ years of experience within programmatic, specifically, and overall digital industry Strong experience across all digital media channels and ability to eloquently speak to each Proficient in programmatic/social technology, platform, and partner solutions, including but not limited to DSPs, ad servers, ad verification platforms, planning/financial platforms, DMPs, analytics & reporting dashboards, etc. Excellent verbal and written communications, presentation, and analytical skills
The annual salary range for this position is $114,425-$152,662. Placement within the salary range is based on a variety of factors, including relevant experience, knowledge, skills, and other factors permitted by law.
