People Consulting - HR Transactions Senior Consultant In our People Consulting division, we focus on delivering long-term value by prioritizing the human element in transformation efforts. We work with clients to reimagine their future workforce, addressing critical human resource challenges in an evolving market worth over $115 billion. Your Opportunity We are seeking a Senior Consultant to engage in HR-related activities concerning global mergers and acquisitions, divestitures, and spins. Your role will encompass providing support throughout the entire process, from initial due diligence to project execution and the critical Day 1 transition. Key responsibilities include creating HR due diligence reports, developing integration and separation plans, and facilitating effective employee communication and experience during transactions. Your Key Responsibilities In this dynamic role, you will manage multiple M&A projects, deliver exceptional client service, and offer innovative HR solutions while balancing competing priorities. You will also build and lead new teams and must quickly establish strong relationships. Specifically, we expect you to: Deliver quality client service, responding effectively to client needs. Contribute to the generation of profitable revenue through identifying new engagement opportunities. Demonstrate strong skills in HR operations design, data analytics, and understanding workforce impacts of M&A activities. Skills and Attributes for Success To excel in this position, you will need a mix of technical and business competencies, including: Experience in HR aspects of mergers and acquisitions. Proficient understanding of the full lifecycle of M&A transactions. Proficiency in delivering timely responses to client concerns and needs. A practical approach to problem-solving and client consensus. A willingness to adopt new technologies and applications into daily workflows. Qualifications A bachelor's degree in business, human resources, or psychology. 3-5 years of relevant experience in related roles. Exposure to large-scale projects, whether in a consultancy or with an internal HR team. Knowledge of HR automation and compliance. Willingness to travel and work in a hybrid environment, with an average of three days per week either at a client site or within an EY office. Ideal Candidates Will Also Have Experience in HR technology implementation. Proven success in leading HR Transformation initiatives.
