KPMG is looking for a Director of Data Architecture to enhance our Audit Technology Alliance organization. Key Responsibilities:

Develop and lead the comprehensive data architecture vision and strategic roadmap for KPMG's generative AI products. Design a scalable and secure data ecosystem for processing structured and unstructured data, focusing on integration and context. Act as the principal authority on data architecture and work collaboratively with senior leadership to ensure solutions are aligned with business strategies. Oversee the design and development of critical data capabilities, enabling their integration into AI workflows. Implement and uphold enterprise-wide data governance, quality standards, and validation frameworks to ensure data integrity and security. Drive innovations in audit technology by exploring and adopting advanced data platforms and techniques. Promote a respectful and professional work environment through integrity and personal accountability. Qualifications:

At least 15 years of experience in data architecture, data engineering, or related fields with a successful track record in large-scale data solution delivery. Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; a master's degree is preferred. Expertise in cloud-native data architectures, especially utilizing platforms like Databricks and Microsoft Fabric. Strong understanding of architectural patterns for structured and unstructured data processing in AI/ML contexts. Proven experience in defining architectural principles and data governance policies within a regulated Agile environment. Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the capacity to influence stakeholders and solve complex challenges.
