Job Title: Drafter/DesignerJob Description
This is a 100% on-site AutoCAD Mechanical Drafter role with a contract length of 6 months, potentially extending to a year. The position may transition from temporary to permanent based on customer needs and worker performance. Create technical drawings using AutoCAD Mechanical, working with both simple and complex designs.
* Manage design files and revisions using systems such as SFDC for design request workflow, PDM Enterprise for drawing revisions, and MasterControl for quality management.
* Generate cost files by using LISP commands in AutoCAD linked to completed designs.
* Collaborate with design engineers to clarify requirements and work with commercial teams to ensure designs meet customer needs.
* Proactively identify next steps on assigned tasks and perform detailed self-checks to ensure drawing accuracy before submission.
Proficiency in AutoCAD Mechanical
* Technical drafting and design skills
* Experience with document control and workflow systems
* High attention to detail and quality mindset
High school diploma required; an associate degree or drafting certificate is beneficial
* Entry-level experience acceptable if knowledgeable in AutoCAD
* Comfortable using Teams, Outlook, and Excel
* The role is 100% on-site at 701 S Main St., This position offers the potential to transition from a temporary to permanent role based on performance and customer needs.
This is a Contract position based out of Logan, UT.
