Senior Purchasing Specialist
Join House Buyers of America as a Senior Purchasing Specialist and take charge of bidding, managing, and negotiating all contracts for our exciting home renovation projects. Work from the comfort of your home as you oversee every aspect of purchasing, develop detailed scopes of work, and recruit top-notch contractors/vendors.
Your Responsibilities:
Lead the bidding process and manage all contracts, ensuring timely invoice submissions, tracking project budgets, and collaborating with Field Managers to verify contractor compliance.
Negotiate optimal costs using national production builder pricing while creatively sourcing innovative products to enhance cost efficiency and aesthetic appeal.
Collaborate with senior management to establish specification levels and project requirements.
Create comprehensive scopes of work and budgets for each renovation project.
Oversee the performance of General contractors and subcontractors, providing training and, when necessary, termination.
Continuously seek and establish relationships with new contractors and vendors through networking and cold outreach, ensuring proper registration before project commencement.
About You:
You bring over 5 years of purchasing experience from a major home builder or remodeling company.
You possess excellent computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Office.
A Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience is essential.
Knowledge of Spanish is a plus.
