Role: Cloud Architect
Location: NYC NY (Onsite)(Hybrid)
Duration: Full time / Direct Hire
Qualifications Advanced cloud implementation experience using compute, storage, networking, and security services and cloud native best practices on AWS. Proven background working in an enterprise IT environment. Familiar with IaC tools, Terraform, CloudFormation Design capabilities aligned with the well-architected framework. EC2, Unix/Linux, User Data, Ansible Kubernetes, Serverless Experience with Kafka a plus. Networking and Security Identity and Access Management (IAM) Python, Docker Experience collaborating with Infrastructure and Application teams. Self-disciplined, self-starter who can provide leadership and mentor others while resolving complex incidents and delivering projects. Knowledge of SDLC and CI/CD best practices Azure experience not required, but nice to have. Responsibilities
Who comes from a software background and having good cloud experience. They want to someone to fix and rearchitect the existing AWS Landing zone and build a software automation workflow for developers and teams to perform various self-service Eg: Deploying a web container (nginx) with all its dependencies using automation. A person who can build a custom terraform provider. They want someone to perform a detailed gap analysis on their current state of cloud and on prem infrastructure, provide designs, implementation and various best practices to fix those key gaps.
